There are 2 options to type in Hindi on a laptop or computer with Google Hindi Input Tool from Google Chrome Browser and by Downloading Google Input Tool.
For typing from the Chrome browser, you need to Download the extension of Google Input Tools. After that, you can do Hindi typing in Chrome Browser by selecting your Language from the Extension options.
You can type Hindi in any editor on your Windows computer or laptop by downloading Google Input Tool. Still, the problem is that Google has stopped downloading Google Input Tool for Windows and ending support.
You can download the old Google Input Tool (Google Hindi Typing Keyboard) from many websites, but I advise you not to use it; the closed one got closed. First, to download Microsoft Indic Language Input Tool (ILIT), visit Microsoft’s project website Bhasha India. After that, click on Downloads and download Input Tool according to your Language and operating system.
After downloading, install it; then select your Language from the language bar on the taskbar and do Hindi typing. If the Hindi option is unavailable, you can add the Hindi language to the Input Method by going to Control Panel and clicking on “Choose Language and Region”.
